Brush Creek Service and Therapy Dog Center had the privilege of visiting the Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in the Oklahoma City metro area again this month. Gia and Archer, with their friendly demeanor and gentle nature, made a positive impact on the residents, creating moments of connection and happiness. One gentleman in a wheelchair clapped when he saw the dog down the hall and made a beeline to her, he stroked her fur and talked to her for the longest time. Two residents made the effort to get up and leave their rooms to come see what the dog was up to. It is amazing to witness these moments of connection.
As part of our ongoing efforts to make a difference in the community, Brush Creek Service and Therapy Dog Center is excited to announce a fundraising initiative. We have organized a 50/50 raffle, where participants can purchase tickets for just $5 each. The drawing will take place on December 16, 2023 at 10 a.m. via a Facebook Live event on our Facebook Page.

If you have already purchased tickets, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity! The lucky winner of the raffle will receive half of the total proceeds, and the remaining half will go towards furthering our mission of placing service dogs with veterans struggling with the effects of PTSD. Additionally, these funds will enable us to continue making visits to places like the assisted living and memory care facility, spreading love and joy to those who need it most.
