Testimonials

Today Sydney showed me how much she has my back.

I was out running errands, first at Lowe's, where it seemed like everyone wanted to come up to us and say hi. That already put me a little on edge, but then we went to Hobby Lobby, and it was packed way more crowded than I'd ever seen it. My anxiety hit hard.

For anyone who hasn't experienced it, an anxiety attack can feel like a wave of pressure closing in, like my heart's racing and I can't get enough air. It's terrifying, and it's happened before where I needed to go to the hospital just to calm down.

But this time, Sydney was there.

As soon as she noticed something was off, she started pawing at me and nudging me, and eventually, she lay down in front of me so I could pet her.

Just focusing on her, on her connection we have, helped me breathe and come back down from that moment.

After a few minutes, I felt steady enough to keep going with what I needed to do.

PTSD is something I deal with, and it has a way of showing up out of nowhere.

I'm just so thankful for Sydney and for the people who helped sponsor her for me.

Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without her.

The people here are wonerful, amazing dog trainers. They helped a friend of mine who is a combat veteran with PTSD get a service dog. It has made a world of difference. These people have amazing dogs and they are incredible trainers with big hearts. I highly recommend this place!

When I reenlisted in the Army in 2016 I was excited to restart my military career.  After a mission in 2020, I came home with PTSD, afraid and very anxious all the time.  Having a trained service dog like Raven to help navigate the emotions is priceless.
