Our volunteers play an extremely important role in providing quality services to the many individuals who utilize Brush Creek Service and Therapy Dog Center services and programs. There are many ways that you can contribute to the success of our programs.  You don't have to have a dog to volunteer.  We would welcome the help you have to offer in many ways!  Whatever skills you can offer we would welcome!

  • Volunteer to help with Social Media Management

Animal Shelter

Marketing and Fundraising

  • Take photos and write stories for blog or newsletter.

  • Go on training outings to video and take photos.

  • Work at weekend Fundraising booth in the area

  • Start a Fundraising page to raise funds

  • Share our Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube posts.

Dog Profile

General Help

  • Socialize puppies

  • Run errands

  • Help with fundraising tasks

  • If you have a skill or don't think you do and would like to volunteer, please just send us an email at brushcreekservicedogs.org with the subject line "volunteer" and we will work together to find you a place to help. 

Requirements for Non-Medical Volunteers

  • Volunteers must be 18 yrs and older or accompanied by an adult who will closely supervise and:

  • Respect all animals, staff, working hours, regulations

  • Volunteer hours available between 9:30am – 5pm Monday – Saturday

  • Willing to do any of the assigned duties

Requirements for Medical Volunteers

  • Must have completed a minimum of 3 years of Vet school

  • Volunteer hours available between 9:30am – 5pm Monday – Saturday

  • Must be willing to share information as well as learn

  • Willing to do any of the assigned duties
